"A Whimsical journey through Loss, Lockdowns and Menopause"

In 2019 My long-term relationship blew apart in Spectacular fashion!
By the end of 2019 I had sold the businesses and the house in Tokoroa, split the finances and purchased a new venture in the Franklin area of Auckland.

I took over the Wedding Venue, Function Centre, Cafe and Watergardens 6 weeks before the first lockdown.

I spent the subsequent Auckland lockdowns fairly much alone in a beautiful setting on 7 acres of water gardens with a dog, chickens, turkeys, turtles and frogs.

After going through Menopause a few years before, it was wonderful to have solitude in such a beautiful place.

So, I used my time in lockdowns to express anger, love, joy, laughter and loneliness, along with quotes that stirred my creativity and helped keep me a little bit sane.

These collages are the result, a Chronicle of a few years in my life.
