Morrinsville Gallery - Exhibiting

The Morrinsville Gallery is made up of four gallery spaces, located in a main street of Morrinsville.
The above listed galleries are available for our public and community exhibitions program.

Our gallery has an excellent reputation for showcasing the work of New Zealand’s finest established and emerging artists. Over 12,000 visitors came through our doors last year from all over Waikato and beyond. We offer exceptional curatorial services, a high-profile space, good foot traffic, likely sales, promotion in print, social media outlets and more.

We offer you an opportunity to be a part of our public programme, and to exhibit simultaneously with works from the Arts Trust Collection or a similarly prestigious and noteworthy exhibition. We welcome your proposal to exhibit in either the Whakaaturanga, Awatea or Community Galleries, or any combination of these. Please note, our main (premier) gallery is generally reserved to showcase works from the Arts House Trust collection and selected curated prestigious exhibitions throughout the year.

Morrinsville Gallery prices for exhibitions - 

Whakaaturanga Gallery    
Four weeks $850
or $215 per week
Est. Linear wall space 43m
Est. Floor Space: 160m2

Community Gallery
Four weeks $500 
or $130 per week
Est. Linear wall space 25m
Est. Floor Space: 55m2
Note there is a large window that takes up approx. 2.5 linear metres.

Awatea Gallery           
Four weeks $450
or $115 per week
Approx. 10m Linear metres
Floor Space: Approx 26m squared
(4m wall, plus up to three suspended industrial grid style walls 1.2 x 1.8m each and one Free standing wall).
Note: The Awatea Gallery, is first space to be seen on entry to the gallery, has natural light and street frontage and can be seen easily night and day

Rental estimates** for other spaces - 

Premier Gallery hire for Events:   
$125 per hour (minimum 2 hours)
Use up to 75 Chairs and 8 Tables, for free
Two Microphones and speaker free use during event with signed agreement.

Learning Hub hire for workshops/training:   
$35 per hour (minimum 2 hours)
