Morrinsville Gallery is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Christmas Show  Morrinsville by Helen and Brian Gibson—an extraordinary celebration of festive creativity that has become a seasonal highlight across the Waikato and North Island.

Fresh off their win of the People’s Choice – Commercial category in the Morrinsville Harcourts KDRE Christmas Light Up 2024, Helen and Brian Gibson are bringing their award-winning magic back to the Gallery for the 2025 season. The exhibition will run from Thursday, November 20 to Monday, December 22, 2025.

This year’s show is especially meaningful as it coincides with the Gallery’s 15th Anniversary. In honour of the occasion, the Gibsons have added and refreshed several vibrant elements to their enchanting show display. Visitors can expect new features including a Christmas tree, a castle with soldiers, a nativity nestled in the mountains, and a delightful group of knitted Christmas elves welcoming guests. Returning favourites such as the Ice Cave, Truffle Factory, fishing shop, and the iconic clock tower will also be on display.

Helen and Brian Gibson have spent the past 17 years collecting hundreds of unique Christmas pieces from around the world, curating a magical experience that captures the joy and wonder of the season. Their private collection is a true gem, and as the leading art gallery in the Matamata-Piako district, Morrinsville Gallery is proud to share it with the community.

Presented free of charge as a gift to the public, the Christmas Show Morrinsville is a heartfelt offering from the Gibson family. Donations to the Gallery are warmly welcomed to support its ongoing programming and operations.
