Morrinsville College Portfolios 2023

Year 13 and Year 12 art students had freedom to choose their own artist models, themes and subject matter for their folios.

Year 11 folios explored the‘Toku ao’(My World) theme and were inspired by the naturalworld around them.

‘Menagerie’-  An eclectic mix of Year 10 artwork. Artwork was at times self-directed and reflects the varied subject matter covered during the course- Matariki paddles, portrait (Atua gods), landscape, still-life and various ‘treasures, trinkets and Taonga’ inspired work.

‘Eye-dentity’ ‘Eyes are the window to the soul’.- "This display reflects our Year 9 & 10 students’ perspective of their world through their lens- personal identity, cultural background, whakapapa and our collective ‘kiwi’ cultural construct."
